I can't wait to see this project progress - it looks like fun. ~smile~ RoseanneHome Sewn By Ushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13943739387560629258noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4331056529990165279.post-51932470154944689602018-03-14T12:01:40.696-04:002018-03-14T12:01:40.696-04:00That will be a really beautiful quilt, I'm sur...That will be a really beautiful quilt, I'm sure. I like where you are going with the church idea. You know how hard it is not to get too wrapped up in details when making a building like this, but I think you've chosen an excellent inspiration to start from. I really like what you have made so far. The grunge fabrics are excellent for buildings. I used them in the barn block for my Colorado quilt. Here's a hint I tell my barn-building students (we also use Julie's terrific book) - Try not to be too literal in your fabric choices. I used a fabric with letters on it for the foreground of my barn block. It was the right color, and nobody noticed the letters, which was kind of the point. I am eager to see how this comes along, but I know it will be great.Milliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12610068948963465925noreply@blogger.com
