My vote's for yellow, but I might be biased... my past two sewing rooms have been yellow. ;) It's just such a cheerful happy color! The bright spot about the appliances is that anything you get will be more energy efficient than what was there. We are holding our breath with our fridge. It's as old as the house and so noisy everyone that comes over asks about the noise and we have to turn the TV way up when it's running. Opening your sewing boxes must be like Christmas! Your sewing room looks like such a lovely space--I especially like the flooring. Nothing in comparison but still upsetting. In our first house we had no water. All the pipes were blocked so we spent the first weekend redoing all the plumbing. The oven/stove top was so filthy we bought a new one. Then told when it was being fitted that there was a gas leak with the old one. Lucky we didn't try to use it...

Have fun settling in.
